Day 4. Friday, March, 13th

RESEARCH

Today we started the morning doing research about the company, the recycling culture in Brazil, social behavior, and the compromise of the company with environmental issues.
We did another brainstorm about the ways to approach the challenge.
Later that we had a interview with the counterpart, in this meeting (via cellphone) the counterpart gave us a short summary about the meaning of the challenge and what they expected from us.

After this we created a series of questions to ask at our next meeting with the company.

Day 38. Thursday. April 30th

GREAT DAY! Today was a great day! Today we performed our presentation. Gabriel Novato performed the Portuguese speech and Gabriel Jezus performed the English one. We did successfully, we were praised by other groups and organization. After the meeting, we received our counterpart feedback to lead us in the next two weeks. We are excited and encouraged to do  our best until demoday. Portuguese presentation: English presentation:

Day 29 Friday 17/04/2020

THE CONTACT Mariana, one of the tutors, contacted a Tetra Pak consultor. He said they don’t use the plasm technology more, one technology that could split the poly-aluminum into plastic and aluminum. He also explained the recycling process to split the layers of Tetra Pak product, the poly-aluminum goes to the industry to make roofs and the paper becomes paper again. The Tetra Pak consultors did so many critics about the Brazilian Environmental Laws, the prefectures don’t want to do new debts with the recycling. The Tetra Pak company is searching and thinking about new methodologies to apply here in Brazil. We didn’t learn along with our lives how to recycle properly the material because we leave milk inside the box packages. The Industry doesn’t have so many persons interested in collect Tetrapak. The Chapadão do Céu, Goiás,  is a reference city in recycling. Our tutors oriented us to hear more peopl...
