Mariana, one of the tutors, contacted a Tetra Pak consultor. He said they don’t use the plasm technology more, one technology that could split the poly-aluminum into plastic and aluminum. He also explained the recycling process to split the layers of Tetra Pak product, the poly-aluminum goes to the industry to make roofs and the paper becomes paper again.
The Tetra Pak consultors did so many critics about the Brazilian Environmental Laws, the prefectures don’t want to do new debts with the recycling. The Tetra Pak company is searching and thinking about new methodologies to apply here in Brazil.
We didn’t learn along with our lives how to recycle properly the material because we leave milk inside the box packages. The Industry doesn’t have so many persons interested in collect Tetrapak. The Chapadão do Céu, Goiás, is a reference city in recycling. Our tutors oriented us to hear more people like cooperatives, waste collectors and Tetra Pak consultants because they are who are mainly affected by the problem. We also need to collect data of people from Chapadão do Céu Town for example, which has one of the best reverse logistics systems of the country.
